Songwriter based in Ebensburg, PA (Northeast of Pittsburgh) seeking musicians - guitarists, bass, keyboards, drums and vocalist - to re-work and re-record 10 songs from existing demo for Indie Production/Record Company.

NOTE - these are demos.

They DO NOT REPRESENT the final sound and structure that is being targeted.

The final structure will involve MORE modern guitars, less keyboards and different structures for more anthemic hooks.

The track "AInsignificance" right now represents the closest to the sound being targeted, but even that will be tweaked.

FULL STORY
I am a songwriter, musician and producer that obtained a development deal from an investment banker/entrepreneur, who is originally from Western PA.

The investment banker was originally involved in the Pittsburgh area music scene that spawned Zao and The Juliana Theory, previously working with members of the Juliana Theory.

While pursuing business investment as a career, he remained passionate about supporting independent music. He believes that the mainstream Christian and secular labels are not doing enough to develop and promote many talented artists and encourage the creation of album craftsmanship.

In doing so, he continued to seek area talent to work with on the side. A contact passed him a demo of a song I wrote and recorded on an 8-track for a family friend who lost their daughter.

Pursuant to that and hearing further praise of my abilities and songs, we agreed to a development deal, which included providing me with a 32 track DAW and some serious pro gear [$2000 plus preamps, etc.], etc.

I finished recording a 10 song demo [see "Available Samples" ] by myself [with help from one friend].

Based on the demo, I've been given a green light to recruit musicians to rework the songs - make them more modern sounding and restructure them [cutting, adding, moving around parts] - and record an album.

I would be producing and also singing, if no suitable lead vocalist is found.

Based on that album, it is the investment banker's plans to make it the debut for launching an independent label or otherwise feature it in promoting to contacts, media, colleges, festivals and venues.

COMMITMENT
Right now, simply need people that will be serious about getting down their parts and travelling to record the album. We can provide food and housing.

There is also already gig opportunities, including being asked to play by a booker at a local university that has over 3,000 full and part time students.

Thus, it would be ideal to at least commit to doing the album and at least playing this potentially large university gig as a showcase of the band and live show.

If that goes well, then there would be definite interest for members to tour (looking at doing at least 100-150 shows) and push the album.
