Hey, Thanks for posting...

Im almost 16...my b-day is September 6th....Which reminds me i have my license test on September 8th (the earlyist i could get it)...

So im two days in to school now....you are so lucky...you dont start till september 22. Thats nuts...shoot.....when do you get out of school i think i get out on like the 5th of June or around that.

I must be crazy because i signed up for Geometry and Pre-Calculus...which i did for various reasons. But now it is really making me mad because all of my friends who were going to do it with me have dropped out...somthing about wanting to take PE instead of leaving a fun class for your senior year and getting a hard class out of the way in your junior year.

grrrrrrrrrrrrr....

and when i got to a small school like mine.....our total for grades 9-12 is about 190...with about 58 of those in the high school....my class is only 15 people this year...we had 20 last year...=(

but anywho...when you go to a small school...it sucks because nobody takes the classes.....

the Pre-Calc class is onlyu 3 of us....which is nice because its not like you get lost and the teacher cant stop...to help you....its like a 1 on 1 class.....

so thats cool...

a side note......NEVER TAKE SPANISH AT MY SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

our teacher has all these wacky rules....like one 50 min period a week we have to speak only using spanish....which wont be so bad near the end of the year..but she is starting that the 3 week of shcool....

its going to be like

ME: Como Esta?
THEM:Bien, Como Esta?
Me:Bien, como te llamos
THEM:Me llamos Peter
Me:Me llamos Timothy

(long awquerd pause)

it might be good because i went to peru this last summer...on a mission trip....with a group called Maranatha...they do a teen mission trip onec each year...and i plan to go again so maybe i might be able to talk to them a little....

...that sounds like fun...geometry was one of my worst classes. then i took algebra II...i didn't make it to pre-calc

Hey!!
You posted in my blog, so I thought I'd return the favor!
I'm Lauren! I just turned 16 last month and I like practially all the same bands you do, especially Hawk Nelson. But unfortunately, I can't tell you what songs I like or anything because I don't actually have the cd yet. All I have is the sound clips I found online, but they sound awesome!
Anyway, I'm not in school yet either. I'm taking geometry too but not pre-calc. I'm also in Spanish 2. It's not as hard as it seems. You'll get the hang of it. In fact, I bought a Spanish Bible to help me this year. I figure it might come in handy.

Well Right now...we dont have anything recoreded...but as soon as i can i will get it uploaded somewhere when we can record...my problem is that i dont have the equipment to reccord and make it sound good...I dont even know if we can record with the equipment i have...so that will be intresting....

...Well, here is the rest of the lowdown....i have a little sister...she is going into 8th grade this year...so next year we will be both in highschool = /

We have two poodles...which they are cute an all...but they are as annoying as i will get out.....BARK BARK YIP YIP BARK BARK YIP YIP....hehe....

as far as my band goes....our name is Random InDeed.....long story...came about on a bell choir trip last year...we need a name and this randomly came out.......the bell trip is also where we picked up our other guitarist.....

Our band is set up kinda like this.....

1 Drummer....
One Lead Singer.....
2 Guitars... (one of which is me for the moment...our guitarist we picked up is takinglessons and i have never taken a lesson in my life...i tought my self guitar....I have been playing for almost 3 and 1/2 years... so he has gotten realy good and is playing first now...so im playing 2nd...although....i want to swich to bass...like i had said when we started the band...but now they dont want to me to do it)
1 bass.....(who has only played for about 6 months and not constant because he dosent have a bass...hehe...he uses mine.....I myself have played bass for about 4 1/2 years..)

Thats about it for right now...except for one thing...its really cool....

A kid moved to our area 2 years ago....and was at the time an athiest....hated the idea of a God....Listened to Manson and all the bad theamed music....since then he has gone to our school....he joined as a Junior at the begining of the year and graduated this last year....it is amazing because he, about a year ago started likeing the idea of a God....and has been progressing in his faith.....which is awsome.....now he listens to bands like pillar...ect. It has taken a lot of help and counseling from our Youth pastor....and Our Bible Teacher...and a lot of support...i helped there.....We became good friends this last year...but anywhoo...he has decided to get baptized in our church....btw im a Seventh Day Adventist......He is getting baptized....tomarrow.....so that's really cool....and i am going to see him get baptized in a pool tomarrow after church....

That's awesome about your friend!! God does amazing things.
I also have a sister going into eighth grade. I don't have a problem with her being in high school next year because I'm homeschooled and it doesn't really matter.
Anyway, I've heard of Seventh Day Adventists, but I'm not sure how your beliefs might differ. I was just curious.

My church is Baptist in doctrine, but we are non-denominational.

um....random note for today...we got our new pool all set up...its an above ground pool...but its better than nothing...although 4 feet deep is a little shallow for me 5"10 and by best friend 6"6...hehe
