Audio Adrenaline has good bass in "Never Gonna Be as Big as Jesus" and I think in "We're a Band," too.

EDIT: The problem with playing any Skillet song is that John Cooper uses a 5-string bass.

True, but I have a couple solutions for that:

1) Find yourself a 5-string bass. My brother found a nice one for only 50 bucks, though it needs some work done on it. It's missing 2 dials and the strings rise too far up above the neck. But it's fixable.

2) Find a tab for 4 strings. I've seen plenty of Skillet's newer songs tabbed for 4 strings. Like Savior, Comatose, I think I've seen one for Rebirthing. I'm pretty sure there's one out there for Forsaken.

Here's another Skillet song--Kill Me, Heal Me. Of course the bass isn't special or anything, I'm just recommending it because the song is easy and fun to play.

I guess the 'Lord you are good' from Israel Houghton . Kinda jazz-rock bass - really cool.

Try it. You can find a few videos of that on YouTube.

Cheers

i wouldn't say that there's a best christian bass song cause musical styles/skills vary. However one of the most challenging bass songs i believe is: God of mercy(rain on us) by John p. kee.

relient k's early stuff had good basslines.

best christian bass song ever, if you factor in right hand string taps, harmonics, and bass chords, well that has to be this:

Beautiful Ending (Barlow Girl) has a cool bass parts. I can't sing that song without tearing up. "Will my life find me by your side?, your love is beautiful / At the end of it all, I wanna be in your arms". Man, that's all there is... I love that band! God has blessed them tons!

Hold On (Abandon) has a cool solo in it.
