| Batman Begins I don't know why I waited so long to post this.
The original director was going to be Aronofsky, which I was extremely excited about it, but he post poned it for like 3 or for years in a row. Chris Nolan (memento, insomnia) is Directing now and it looks awesome. They're completely restarting the story (I think they went down hill after the first one.) Christian Bale(newsies, American Psycho) is Batman. Discuss!

| Oo! I can't wait for this, Batman is my favorite superhero. I am a little disappointed that they cast Christian Bale, but I just saw the teaser and he might do a good job. |

| Are you for real? you don't like Bale? Is it because of Psycho? Anyways... I hope they market this well, maybe mention "Nolan - Memento and Insomnia" or the like since BATMAN AND ROBIN basically ENDED the franchise.

| Bale's ok (I've never seen Psycho) I just don't really think of him as a "Batman" sort of guy. He did a great job in Equilibrium though, so he might surprise me. I hope he does
Yeah, I agree about the marketing, they need to get this out there... like Spider-Man. |

| Bale seems to be a reasonable choice for Batman. He's dark, serious and rippped. Perhaps he could be bigger, but previous Batman's haven't been big either. He makes a whole lot more sense than any of hte last three Batmans.
....and since they're running trailors a year before its release, its safe to say its going to get a good marketing campaign. |

| I am a huge Bat-fan. I know the world of Gotham (pre- and post-Crisis as well as the Timm, cinematic, and televised variations) like the back of my hand.
I have high hopes for "Batman Begins," but part of me is terrified that it will be another letdown.

| Yeah, Memento is one of my favorite movies ever. I definitly have high hopes now for this Batman movie. One of my biggest dissapointments with the most recent Batman movies has been that they aren't dark anymore. They've made the dark knight more like the old cheesy, corny TV show. I think Nolan will bring the darkness in Batman back. Memento definitly wasn't a happy, corny movie.
Anyone else notice the Scarecrow is gonna be in it? That should be sweet. Plus Katie Holmes is playing Rachel Dodson. An added bonus |

sometimes, me and my friends watch retarded movies so we can laugh and make comments. I don't even feel I could do that with the last 3 batman movies. I'd just be sad.
So yea, Come on, Nolan. Make us Batman fans look good.

| Yes. And if another Batman sequel comes out it should be more like the first.

| I'm not a fan of the new Batman costume, but then again it is hard to make a make dressed in a tight black suit with ears look believable.
Still, I liked the teaser trailer and like the potential of the film... I felt the dark tone to the first two Batman films is what made them better than the other two (Tim Burton's presence could have played a factor in that).

If he had stayed on it. They'd still be making those ones.

| I like the new suit - the way they're moving away from the rubber-thing. It's had it's day, and that day is gone.
