| I finally saw these girls live and was blown away. They are really great and talented. Usually you see a girl group and they all just sing and have a band. But these girls are the band. That is so cool.

So, this is myspace but you are allowed to come in it too.
I step on board as commander in chief
With Sgt. Pepper in military motif
We walk this ship and I nod with a grin
At my friends Gordon Sumner and Mudslide Slim
"Take me to the pilot," I demand
And they lead me to in the Rocket Man
"Who's navigating?" I inquire
As Julio swoops down by the schoolyard
There my soul was as light as a feather
As the Piano Man had us all singing together |

#4 | | Master of Disaster | These girls are awesome! I was so inspired by them to write more of my own songs. They're whole cd is really quite good. However, I did think that track 4 was a little weaker musically than the rest. But, I love their lyrics and how most of them talk about God. |

| Frankly, I didn't think the CD was all that good. They need to develop a lot. On a whole it didn't seem totally up to snuff to me.

| Better than you would think from my above post. Yeah, they're fairly good, but Never Alone is by far the standout track in my mind.

| They sound like Evanescence. Not that that is a bad thing, but I think they need to experiment musically and move out from the Evanescence shadow. But they are a good band. They perform well.

| I saw them live right before they put out their album. They are the best. They are pretty much equal to Superchic[k] to me, except Superchic[k]'s guitar is a little better |

| I saw them at Creation West. Before, I had never heard of them. They were one of my surprise finds at the concerts. I really liked them (and their presentation of their show). |

| eh? Is this a Christian band in any way? They seem way too hung up on the boys at the mall. I read the lyrics; very few references to Jesus...and they mention God in passing.
Ok, they're cute and they "sound" alright, but if they were a puddle I had stepped into, my toenails wouldn't get wet. |

| Barlowgirl has a passion to write songs about the journey that God has taken them on in their lives. Our main topics include trusting God, purity, and our stand on not dating.
Trust- "We believe that God is calling everyone to live a life that is fully surrendered to Him so that He can do His work in us and begin to show us His true purpose for our lives. We're definitely not saying 'we've mastered this concept and now it's your turn', but instead that this is a daily process and a journey that all of us will be on
forever."
Purity- "In a world that constantly bombards us with impurity and immodesty, we feel called to take a stand against what the world is telling us is acceptable. Especially in the area of clothing and modesty."
Not dating- "We believe that God has one perfect man already chosen for us; therefore we have no need to worry ourselves in searching for him. When the time is right we know God will bring us together. In the meantime we are not hiding in a closet avoiding all males. We are still living our lives, just without just without the pressure of having to have a boyfriend.
taken from Barlow Girl's website
uhhh, I guess they aren't too hung up with the guys at the mall.
and they mentioned God in there several times. and that's just one little ittie bit of their website. as for not getting your toenails wet, take your dang shoes and socks off, and stop being a hater. It's bad for your health...
