I just started playing guitar. I love the BarlowGirl cd! I have already prepaid for the new CD, Another Journal Entry. Have you all gotten on your computer with the Self titled cd? They have the Barlowgirl logo and a website with an extra song on it and a never before seen video. Well, just wanted to post.

Hey! You obviously couldnt recognize a christian band if they came up to you and started preaching the gospel. BarlowGirl is a Christian band made up of 3 christian young ladies.
You led me talks about Jesus and Surrender talks about surrendering your life to him. Clothes talks about how young women think they need to wear immodest clothes to fit in and BG is saying you dont need to wear skimpy clothes to fit in. I just suggest before you post again you check your facts!

Pretty good to me. I'm not really one for Pop but the CD's pretty good for a debut album

And you said they seem to be "Way to hung up with boys at the mall" ? Did you not see the song Average Girl? They are against dating. They believe that dating is so overrated these days and they are leaving it up to God to bring him their future spouses. That doesnt mean they hide in the closet away from guys, they just go out and groups, and are just friends.

Yeah, right. Read those lyrics then tell me they dont mention God or sound like a christian band

bruceband, I must disagree. I luv BarlowGirl, but that's not the only reason I disagree with u. BG has a stand 4 purity and not dating. boys in the mall? sorry but that doesn't even make sense! lol

well, anyway even if I hated the band, I think that as Christians, we should always try to be polite and encouraging, cuz thats what God wants us to do! lol 'Don't be a hater! it's bad for ur health!' lol I like that!! good job Napoleon17!

well, first of all bruceband, you didn't read the lyrics that well.

they are about remaining pure and not dating until God shows them the right man to marry.
Just because a band doesn't mention Jesus like secular bands mention the f word, doesn't make them non-Christian.
Personally, they are wonderful girls, and have really inspired me to remain pure, and stand true in my faith. there are not enough of inspiring girls like them in the world.
