| Guitar Solo Thread Hello Ladies and Gents,
This is exciting stuff! I hope everyone has a good time and learns a thing or two along the way. All jam tracks, rules, advice, help, can be found here. Dream_Theatre was the one who got thing rolling, so many thanks to him. Also a big thanks to everyone, and I mean everyone, who helped make jam tracks, offered help, and offered up ideas! Your what makes this forum one of the best on the web! If anything happens to go wrong, the mod squad is here to help you out. PM anyone of us and we will take care of the problem for you. Good luck and thanks for taking the time to get involved!
EDIT: Ok here is the deal. You post your entries here. Sometime in the next week we(meaning all guitar forum junkies) will decide whether this is a contest or just for fun. We don't want to waist anymore time so lets get started! If this does turn out to be a contest and you posted your entry thinking it was for fun, you can withdrawal your solo by deleting it.

| Oh what the heck... I'll jump in. Gotta have some country pickin' in this little jam. Just hit this link and listen to "Walk The Walk": http://www.soundclick.com/bands/7/jjulianomusic.htm
The soloing starts happening around 1:32 and then again at 2:33.
Thanks and God bless!

| Wow Esquire I'm impressed. I don't listen to a lot of country but you had my toes a tappin'. Very impressed. You have a lot of skill and it shines in this song. Nice lyrics too I might add!

| Solos? Alrighty, here's a solo for you guys Mirror (Guitar Solo) (Just play the song "When Hearts Are Set Ablaze) I regret to say that It's not my solo, but it is our bands, there's a "solo" in the chorus, and a real solo at the end. Please keep in mind that this guy has been playing less than 2 years and is 14 at the moment.

| So can I post anything or does it have to be from a specific backing track?
If anything, here's a tune I wrote and recorded a couple years ago: a song called "thoughts"
EDIT: the actual "solo" occurs a little later in the song...be patient. |

anyways, i'm editing this b/c i think i had some names wrong. so let me just say, there's definitely some cool submissions here. i guess this turned into post whatever you want rather than play over a specific backing track. that's cool though because i think playing over the same backtrack would have to be limiting to some. |
