| Here's a little song that I recorded in Apple's GarageBand last night. Jazzy Smooveness in Ab by gtrdave
All drums, bass, and synth are modded GB loops. The guitar (ESP 400 Series) is run through the GB amp sim.
Enjoy. |

Enjoy. | Man, everytime I hear your playing I feel like I either need to practice or quit altogether. Great job.
BTW, how do you like the amp sims in Garage Band? |

| Here's another jam I did recently over a backing track that a friend on another forum had to share.
As it was recorded @ 8:30 AM, I call it "Breakfast Shred"
Guitar: Godin Solidac
Amp: Digitech Genesis 1, rectified and blonde 2x12 setting
Recorded in: ProTools |

Dude, it sounded great! Very cool.
I'm hoping to get to a point like this someday. Practice and more practice.

Recorded in: ProTools | Dude! I dig! I particularly liked the line at around 1:30-1:40 where you were using those runs to get to certain target notes higher and higher up the neck.
Cool melodic sequencing like that is something I really have to develop. I'm stuck in shred with no meat land still. :\ Oh well.
Also dug that little smooth jazz track. Not a fan of smooth jazz, though... Any chance of a swing or bop track? |
