I've heard room temperature water is best to during singing.
And i've noticed how sugary substances cause mucas build up. Gatorade too, that was probably the worst thing i've ever drank while singing. It gave me this wierd caoting in my throat that totally sucked. I drink propel now and it doesn't make my throat all wierd.

We are actually using lemonade in a warm water before we sing, its effective somehow, they say its much better than ginger tea ,but if it is really not a good Idea, I think I will remember that.
