I like to sing along with the radio. a huge variety, really. rockish stuff, mostly. I'm not really sure how to classify the stuff I like to sing along with, though, because everyone uses different classification systems.

I also like to sing along with opera. it's my goal to become an opera singer (not professionally..I don't have enough of a diva complex to do that ) eventually. actually...it's my goal to sing the part of Carmen someday (my fave opera). as it is, I sing along with my cd anyways lol. I also sing along with Christine's part when I have my Phantom highlights (I need to find the whole thing) cd on. her part is easier than Carmen's, lyrically, mainly because I know english and don't know french.

Ahh.. Christine from Phantom.. good times! I used to sing that ALL the time! Back when I was in better vocal shape and my range was wider than it is now..

Peace and love,
Rhonda.

well..I'm not a soprano (I can sing mezzo, but not the super high stuff) so sometimes her parts go a little high for me, like in the Phanton of the Opera piece, where she goes higher and higher until she breaks off in a scream...I can go just about to the end, but unlike her singing the scream, if I wanted to achieve that sound, i'd actually have to scream haha.

My voice teacher likes me to sing 16th century soprano pieces but I really like singing broadway show tunes. (Sound of Music is awesome.)

Tenor. In good choirs. Anyone else a huge fan of the sensation of 8 part harmonies?
Tonal music preferred...

coheed is very hard to sing. and i've come close to hurting myself but i'm getting better. the main trouble is singing that high and getting my breathing right and trying to play at the same time.
