Sorry I've been silent for so long, I was at the Bahamas on a mission trip helping orphans. Anyways, Here's some lyrics I've been working on.
The Weird

I need some pointers on this, so please critisize freely. I wrote this pretty fast. Also, I'd like to point out that dc Talk's 'Like it, Love it, Need it' was my inspiration for this, along with their music in general Thanks in advance yall!

EDIT: I changed up the lyrics and made a chorus, and now have the guitar part recorded. Sorry I didn't say the lyrics to it, I can't sing it without screwing up yet. I'll sing lyrics as soon as I can yall!

Hey guys, I'm working on a recording, so I hope I get that out soon, if at all. And please, don't just read this- tell me if it sucks or not, I can't learn from my mistakes if I can't see them

I think it's pretty good, but you use the word wierd a lot which can be awkward to sing sometimes. I don't know...to be honest I just really couldn't get into it that much. I'd like to hear a recording anyways though.

yeah, i think the tune would be more of the reason to listen this song... im working on the beat to fit with the second verse right, becuz its sortof becoming off... i doubt ill be able to sing as i play this one. Hang on, it'll be a sec b4 anything is made I'll se what i can do flyguy

Ok everyone, I made a Chorus with a tune, and a recording of the guitar part. Unfortunately, i cant sing it right yet, so it might be a while before i record it with lyrics Sorry guys!

I changed up a few things and added another verse, but the rythem still feels awkward- thanks for the comments Nate and Flyguy! I'm ambarrased at the Nestolgiatic thing, but it sounded cool- i replaced it, but i could probably do better. Im free for some comments and suggestions everybody, and critisize freely- i dont care if you say its the worst song on earth, just let me know

This line kinda threw me, but if you like it, that's cool. It's just a style thing - it may work great when I hear your tune and stuff.

Hi ya Nick!

Yeah, it does look a little off without knowing how im gonna say it, but the way i intend to sing it fits the rythem. Just so you know, you could almost sing the verses to the verses of 'Like it, Love it, Need it' (which i said was my inspiration), so I might wanna change it just for the sake of originality... Im not sure about it, but it seems fine to me. Its a rythemish thing, I guess
