| I saw Explosions in the Sky here in Mexico a few months ago. It was incredible!!
I was talking to my friend last night who lives upstate in Rochester and she was telling me how flippin freezing it was.
Nice work on your school results.

Other then that, I endured All County vocal jazz accompaniment, played a few jazz gigs, made some money, took my five-hour driving video thing, enjoyed midterms, passed the English Regents with a 97, and discovered a trillion beautiful bands. I also have a sliver in my foot, and am dying from lack of sleep. I've been in a great mood lately. My sister I'm close to is getting married in March or something, so I'll be flying to Seattle; I bought a sweet gray suit I'll be wearing. Then I'll be flying immediately back for Drumline Championships, and sadly missing the school musical I typically play in. This is a busy time of year; I can't wait to get my license. Today is the Florida Primary. Sadly Ron Paul is sucking. I hate all Democrats, though it would be fun to see them elected so everyone would realize how terrible they are, increasing spending and government interference in people's lives. Stupid things like UHC and stuff. John McCain is probably my second candidate only because Huckabee reminds me too much of Bush. Romney scares me.

| Holy cow, you are a busy little boy.
Mitt Romney scares the living daylights out of me.
I am voting for Christopher Walken. He's so insane, it might just work.
It's been a long time since I've read QC. I miss it.

Today school closed at 10:00 because it was snowing or something, so I'm home recording music and penning a short story. I'm being a little creative for once. We've been reading Poe in school. Inspiring.

| Today I thought of a brilliant plan. Since I can't drive past nine (no drivers ed course) for about a year and a half, I need to go to the amazing concerts here that my friends don't want to go to. (Stars, Liars, The National, Battles, in the month) So, I can drive to the concert and then park at a motel or something and sleep the night. Yeah. My mom actually said probably sort of. Luckily my brother is willing to go to the Explosions in the Sky concert in April. I'll drive up with my friend and he'll take over for us after the show.
Laura is an amazing band. I already knew this a half year ago, but today I realized the song "We Are Mapping Out Your Dreams" is really sweet.
Tonight I have a jazz gig at Irenes. It promises to be pretty fun. I'm trying to get my two friends to consider making a post-rock thing. I've always been composing stuff like that and we could easily do it but they don't think you could 'rock out' to it. Pffffffffffffffffffffffft. My other two friends are coming over tomorrow to work on our little band. One hard rocker and the other a fellow indy rocker. We're trying to mesh somewhere in between, but right now neither of them are very good.
I just reread this post and it's really choppy and a pain to read. I'm in a little wacky mood.

The jazz gig was really fun. We played a bunch of new songs without rehearsing them. Fun fun fun.
I wish people would understand that it isn't the federal governments job to educate or get people healthcare. And that you can’t discriminate against music, musicians, or performers for what doesn’t look ‘technical’ or ‘musical’. The most music can do is effect you, not switch meters and throw a septuplet in there. It is not even really easier to write ‘simple’ stuff then it is to write ‘complex’ stuff. Atleast not good stuff.
I'm listening to Michael Medved and Deerhoof. Wooooo!

| Listening to the new Wanderlust stuff... Interesting.
Good interesting, of course.
We need to collab on something sometime. Something is telling me that when Grey Aura and Wanderlust hook up, something magical happens. |

| Hi Nate, I'm Andrew. Have we ever met? I doubt it. I stumbled upon this while doing my blog patrols. Can I change your blog title? I have a good one in mind. |

I've never really been in a situation where a friend and I were really able to work together to write a good song. I've only ever been productive by myself. Quote: |

I don't know what to report... drumline show this Saturday. No school next week. Today had 'band practice' with a little band I guess I'm in. I'm singing a lot which is really fun. Tomorrow in music theory I'm bringing in a song and I think I'll bring in Laura's 'Levodopa'.

m'kay now that i've got that out of my system . . .
how are you?? it's been a while. [yes, again. ell-ohh-ell.]
i saw no need to return seeing as it appeared that everyone
[aka: old cgr people who i used to talk to 24/7. . .]
had fallen off the face of the internet planet.
i was quite sad. i had only just begun to make an effort
to make my fabulous life changing return which changed the world as we know it.
wait . . . did i already say that . . .???
i kid, i kid, hehe.
as i was saying, i began to return, and saw no point.
i felt so unloved. so i quit coming all together.
thennnn, i got a random email from the wonderful, the stunning, the infamous, chris ™.
[for all you losers out there who know not who i speak of, i am very sorry, you quite missed out.]
anyyyywho, well . . .
i suppose i am back this time.
but then again, who can ever know if that is true??
surely not i . . .
hope all is well, dear. ♥ love always.
