| In anticipation of everything [hopefully] going smoothly, we've started boxing up some stuff. We're going to stick it in a big u-haul like trailer that Cat's folks have, so that we can fill it up slowly as we get stuff packed and they can just bring the trailer over when we actually move. Saves us from moving everything all at once, we hope.
We have five giant rubbermaid plastic tubs and five large boxes full of stuff, and it doesn't even look like we've packed anything. We have soooo much stuff in this little apartment we're in. It's crazy.
Oh well. Hopefully this little by little approach will make the packing seem not quite as difficult. Two boxes a day is my goal. Figure if we do that every day 'til we're scheduled to close, it'll get done.

| Have you read Wittgenstein? Your blog title and many of your points on language remind me of him.
p.s. I have started a casual blog as I slog through ancient literature. I use one of our discussions for one of the post. |

I haven't really read any Wittgenstein that I can recall. Perhaps I should.

So really, "What is the air speed velocity of an unlaiden swallow?"
It's quite simple:
Drag on a body in a fluid is:
D = 1/2 (Cd*pi*r^2*rho*Vo^2) Cd = coefficient of drag of the swallow pi = 3.1415... r = radius of bird cross-section (approximating as a circle) rho = viscosity of air Vo = velocity For steady state flight, D (drag) = T (thrust), so:
------------------------------
| Vo = sqrt(T/Cd*pi*r^2*rho) |
------------------------------ |

| It took us a few more points, but our interest rate is a flat 5.0%. Pretty darn good.

| You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to buy a house.
It is the equivalent of trying to herd 2 dozen feral cats.
