And on that note... I will share another funny VBS story to ligthen the mood:

Our youth minister, as you all know (or, I think you do, anyway), is pregnant again... with her fifth child. Anyway, she's in charge of snacks at VBS. While she was making snacks this morning, she was singing the whole "Do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight" song... except she only sang the first line, "Do a little dance." She said she didn't want to sing the next part in church 'cause it was dirty. Then she said, "I think Danny [that's her husband] and I sing that part a little too much, anyway."

I wonder what she'd think about me sharing that story on here. Haha. My youth minister and her husband are both registered on here, and they occasionally read stuff still. Just the other day, Danny commented to me about something I had posted in the Worship Leading forum. I hope I don't upset them if they happen to read me retelling that story or anything. It was just too funny not to share with somebody.

In His love,
Nate

"neither life nor death..." er... I don't have it memorized exactly. Let's see... Romans 8:38, was it?

38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Yesssss.

Sorry to hear about your piano teacher. I'll keep her family in my prayers.

And... Homestar? Oh, boy. Well, better him than the Cheat, I suppose.

That story about the giant popsicle flooding NYC is so freakin' hilarious.

Here's something else that's freaking hilarious:

The REAL circle of life:

The animals all show up at the beginning of the movie.

The Lions pounce, eating zebras.

The lions poop out zebra.

The poop fertilizes the grass.

The stupid animals that are too dumb to eat meat eat the grass.

The lions eat the stupid animals again! YAY!

I am sorry about your loss.

The circle of life. I felt it most when the first grandchild was born. I felt her shove me 1/2 way into my grave. That was 11 years ago.

Take care,

If her birth shoved you half-way to the grave, how close are you now?

That is profoundly disgusting. Pooping isn't Christ-like.

Jesus was human. He had to take dumps, too. It is very Christ-like.
