Drag on a body in a fluid is:
D = 1/2 (Cd*pi*r^2*rho*Vo^2) Cd = coefficient of drag of the swallow pi = 3.1415... r = radius of bird cross-section (approximating as a circle) rho = viscosity of air Vo = velocity For steady state flight, D (drag) = T (thrust), so:

Don't you have any semi-recent ones?? Even that one with you and Annie in it is like two or three years old.

Anyways... yesterday was boring. School and more school. And in between school..... homework. Today will be another long day at school.... I'm here 'til 5:30, and I won't get home 'til about 6:00 or so. But so far things are going good. I got out of music theory class early 'cause we didn't have much to do today. I got an A+ on my rhythm reading/counting thingy, and then I left. YAY. Now I'm waiting for my religion class to start. Fun stuff that... I get to learn all about Christianity for the rest of the semester..... or, should I say, Catholic Christianity. Ahhh... the joys of going to a Jesuit university. *sigh*

Well, I guess that's all for now. More questions for me to answer would be great, 'cause I'm awful at thinking of things to talk about.

Yeah, yeah, I know...it was the only one I knew the location of off-hand, though. My files all got kinda mixed up when I switched computers, so I have no idea where anything is.

Well, while we're on the subject of pictures......

Catherine and I went and got some pictures taken of us today at Wal-Mart.

So... we'll have nice pretty looking pictures of the two of us... isn't that wonderful??

Well.. I thought it was.

Anyways.. today was pretty busy. I got up and went outside to mow the lawn, then I fixed the washing maching (haha, somewhat), then I went and took pictures with Cat (well actually, I showered first), then I came home and installed a ceiling fan, then I went to a dinner thingy at church, then I came home and typed up some lyric sheets for the youth choir, then I did a little bit of homework.... and now I'm about to head off to bed, 'cause I'm tired.

And that was a very fine example of a run-on sentence. And to think, I started this post off with nice proper grammar like "Catherine and I". *sigh* I'm pathetic.

Well, that's all for now. I leave you with a quote from Rich Mullins. Hehe.
