| Update:
I tend to be very skeptical of personality tests, but I recently took a Myers-Briggs test that I found a link to in Luke's blog... and I am quite surprised by how accurate the results seem to be.
Here are my results:
Introverted (I) 76.92% Extroverted (E) 23.08%
Sensing (S) 63.89% Intuitive (N) 36.11%
Thinking (T) 75% Feeling (F) 25%
Judging (J) 54.55% Perceiving (P) 45.45%
Your type is: ISTJ
ISTJ - "Trustee". Decisiveness in practical affairs. Guardian of time- honored institutions. Dependable. 11.6% of total population.

I'm going to retake it a few times, and I'm going to try a few different versions of the test that they had on the site, but I'm actually surprised by how accurate these first results are.

| I took the more advanced "enneagram" test, and received these results:

I also took the shorter Myers-Briggs personality test, and received these results:

Same end result, but slightly different percentages. Interesting.
For anyone interested, this is the site I am taking these tests at.

| Update:
The wedding that I'm playing for is tomorrow evening at 5:00. Nice time, I think. Not too early, not too late. Gives me a little bit of time to practice some more tomorrow, too. I'm ready, though. I've got the four traditional songs down pretty well, and I'm just going to improvise the rest. I thought there would be a rehearsel tonight, but there isn't going to a rehearsel at all. Haha. Fun. This is the first wedding I've played, so I'm a bit nervous/excited/scared. Oh well, it'll be fine.
I bought two $3 ringer t-shirts from Old Navy earlier this evening. I love clearance sales. I also purchased the Myst trilogy of video games for $15 pre-owned. I'm about to go install the games on my computer and see if they are any fun.
I was just playing a few games of backgammon with Gavin on Yahoo games, but I guess he got disconnected. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.
That's all for now.
In His love,
Nate

Well, the wedding went fabulously/beautifully. I got a little confused when the procession down the aisle started, 'cause most of the people therein were "little people" and I couldn't quite see what was going on... I wasn't sure when it was over, so I wasn't entirely sure when to end the Canon In D and move to the Bridal Chorus. I got a signal from a friend of mine, though, and that helped. The whole family thanked me for playing, and I have now officially played my first wedding... so I'm pleased.
The wedding itself was short but sweet; of course, I've never been to a wedding before, so I have nothing to compare it to. It was all fairly informal and laid back, just like the family involved. The bride and groom's little girl kept trying to run up on the stage to be with her mommy and daddy. Hahaha.
I thought I was going to get a little break from leading the Sunday morning worship service, seeing as our music minister is back in town, but she's got some stuff that might need to be done tomorrow and/or later in the week so she asked me to take care of all the music for this week and the next week. It's all good, though, 'cause I don't mind playing. Song lyric of the moment:
"Only by grace can we enter, only by grace can we stand,
Not by our human endeavour, but by the blood of the Lamb;
Into Your presence You call us, You call us to come,
Into Your presence You draw us, and now by Your grace we come.
Lord, if You marked our transgressions, who could stand?
Thanks to Your grace, we are cleansed by the blood of the Lamb."
- Only By Grace by Gerrit Gustafson Scripture passage of the moment:
Hebrews 4:14-16
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Lord, thank you for the confidence with which I can approach Your throne of grace. Thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ, my great High Priest, that even allows me to approach Your throne at all.
In His love,
Nate

| Update:
Well, as you can all see, my username change is complete now. R.I.P. KeyboardFreak. I'm still trying to find a good free email server (if someone has any Gmail invites, I might take one ) to register with. I'm slowly changing to more personal, more professional screennames for all online activities. w00t.
Catherine is back from vacation now, which is cool. She got me a coffee mug and some saltwater taffy as souvenirs.
I am about to win a really spiffy looking backgammon board from eBay. I'll know in about three hours whether I actually win it or not. At such time, I will probably post pictures so you can all marvel at its majestic greatness... or something.
I guess that's all for now. Just figured I should make some kind of update so this thread didn't fall by the wayside again.
In His love,
Nate

I say screw proffesionalism. But of course I really don't have to sweat profeesionalism, I am just a high school student. yay for me. But not for long. my day will come. The day I will dread. I will turn 18. I don't want to be 18. I really don't. Maybe Micheal and I can work something out, and I can stay in "never never land".
