| Although they aren't what I'd call pure folk music, Lost & Found do some really interesting stuff. |

Nice update, Nate. About time. Congrats on two years.

PM me if this blog starts slacking so much again. Yell at me or something. I need to update this thing more often.
| Haha! I will!
Congratulations on the update. And having been with Catherine for a LONG time. |

Perhaps I just need to start buying CDs from the artists that I already know of, but I am still interested in hearing more suggestions.

Nate

Nice update, Nate. About time. Congrats on two years. | Hehe. Thanks. Considering how stupid and strange of a person I am at times, I am very confused as to why Catherine has stayed with me for these past two years, but I am very happy that she has. Quote: |

| Update:
Catherine and I took the kitties to the vet today to get them de-wormed (they had fleas awhile ago). All four of them are boys.
We had been a little confused regarding what exactly to do in order to start weaning the kitties, but the vet cleared it up for us. Looks like Tigger (the mommy cat) is going to get to do all the work. We're just supposed to leave some soft cat food out in a dish and let the momma wean them herself.
VBS ended today. *very sad face* It was fun. Some of the kids will be singing the songs we learned during our worship service on Sunday, so I'm not throughw with the cheesy music just yet. *another very sad face* One of the boys in Catherine's class (the 5th and 6th grade class) was saved today; I really hope that he continues to come to our church so that he can grow in his new life as a Christian.
Daniel and Jason left this afternoon to go to AWANA camp up in Arkansas. They'll be there a week or so, so the house is going to be pretty quiet (except for Colt, and the kitties) for awhile. It's going to be very weird.
I'm a bit tired right now and can't think of anything else to write... so I guess that's it for this entry. Thanks for reading!
In His love,
Nate

| Ah, you liked Pierce Pettis, I read? Excellent. As far as other suggestions, Vigilantes of Love are (well, they broke up, I guess) one of the best Christian bands, in my humble opinion. They have a folky sort of feel in places. Look into them. Hmm, who else is folky...? Oh, have you looked into Bob Dylan's three "Christian albums." Derek is always harping on them. Not bad, although on the whole i like the earlier Dylan a bit more. |

| Coolness. I'll keep all that in mind.

| Well, today is the day before the Lord's day. I have to play all of the music for our service tomorrow, since our music minister is still out of town. I'm supposed to be putting together PowerPoint presentations right now, but I don't feel like doing it just yet. There's a really nice lady in our church who has a huge archive of pretty Christian images, suitable for PPT backgrounds; she selects backgrounds and types up the lyrics for me, and I go through afterwards and edit things to make sure it all displays appropriately on our screen.
Catherine is going on vacation to DisneyLand/World/Place/Whatever soon. I'll miss her. I can't say that I wish I could go with her, though; I hate any and everything Disney.
Wow... Catherine just walked in. I guess I should get off of here and pay attention to her instead of the computer.
In His love,
Nate

I like Everything Matters better than State of Grace, personally. I like both, of course, but ovverall, it is even more enjoyable for me. I've not gotten Making Light of It or any others yet (I believe he has four albums before that one). |
