| Well, not much is going on... but I need to update this.
I start school this coming Monday. I just spent +$400 for FOUR books.... and I still have one more to get.
I'm taking 19 hours this semester, and that includes TWO once-weekly classes which DON'T count for anything.
My brothers and I got to do ALL the music for last Sunday's service at church, and we get to do it all again this Sunday. Last week, we did mostly praise songs... so this week we're going to do mostly hymns. So far, we're planning on doing Alas, And Did My Savior Bleed, And Can It Be, and When I Survey The Wondrous Cross.
That's about all for now. I need to go sweep the kitchen.
In His love,
Nate

| Ugh, books aree way too expensive.
It is awesome, the hymns you guys are doing. Watts and Wesley are two of the best hymn writers ever. |

Oh.. I forgot. We're also planning on doing He's Got The Whole World In His Hands as a sort of "welcome song". It's a Southern Baptist thing; we play a fun song, and everyone walks around and talks/shakes hands. We're going to jazz it up a bit.
In His love,
Nate

I'm glad they're gone.

So really, "What is the air speed velocity of an unlaiden swallow?"
It's quite simple:
Drag on a body in a fluid is:
D = 1/2 (Cd*pi*r^2*rho*Vo^2) Cd = coefficient of drag of the swallow pi = 3.1415... r = radius of bird cross-section (approximating as a circle) rho = viscosity of air Vo = velocity For steady state flight, D (drag) = T (thrust), so:
------------------------------
| Vo = sqrt(T/Cd*pi*r^2*rho) |
------------------------------ |

So yeah..cool blog Nate. I don't think I've posted in here before, but now I have. Have a good day (and don't worry about the $$ you spend on books - you can't take it with you!)

| WOOO! Congrats Nate! And I though over 1,000 was good. I still find it incredible how many Luke has though, but he does all the mod requests and stuff, so he gains tons through that alone. But I stray from the topic. Have a great day/night! |

| I am here. My life is just so boring that I don't have anything to talk about.
Well, today is a looooong day for me. I left home at 8:30 in the morning, and I won't get back 'til about 9:30 or so. Woooo. What fun. At least I didn't have many classes today. There was some mass or something this morning, so my music theory class was cancelled... and then recital hour was cancelled as well. So, I had NOTHING from 11:00 to 3:30. I practiced piano for two hours. Yay.
Hmmm.. only 15 minutes 'til my last class of the day starts. I'm outta here.
In His love,
Nate

| When you practice piano, what do you practice? Like are you working on any songs or anything?
