MIDI Controller/Synthesizer

I'm heading off to college in the fall, and since I won't be able to take my family's keyboard with me, I'm probably going to need some kind of MIDI controller/synthesizer.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not worried about having tons of features and such, I just want to be able to record MIDI. I have a soft synth on my computer, so I don't even need something with alot of sounds.
I want to go as cheap as possible, preferably around $100, maybe less.
Thanks in advance!

There's lots of keyboards that will do that, check out a sam ash or guitar center. but for under $100 you'll probably only get a tiny keyboard a little over a foot long that I've seen.

I don't know much about that type of keyboard, but I can tell you that I doubt you will find anything for that price. Generally a low-end keyboard runs around $500-$1000. Playing piano isn't cheap.

I'm not looking for another keyboard, I don't have room for a full-size Korg Triton.
I just want some recommendations for about a 16-key MIDI controller like this one: (A 25-key USB MIDI controller for $300) http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=...fb8f23c8d6646f
