There needs to be a Christian & Misionary Alliance sub-forum in the Denominations thread

Is that a denomination? If so, how many members of that denomination post on CGR? Are there enough to have enough discussion in that forum to warrant its creation?

Not every denomination is going to have a forum under Denominations, because there's simply too many for it to be feasible. There must be enough members of that denomination active on the forum to actually have a decent amount of discussion. I belong to a Mennonite church, but we don't have a Mennonite forum because not enough Mennonites post on CGR to warrant it.

This is the reason why I wouldn't make a C&MA forum.

Do you know if anyone else on this site attends the same denomination? If you do, feel free to discuss issues specific to your denomination via PM.

Non-denominational, I guess, unless there's another denomination to which you're particularly similar. I may rename that forum's description to include other small denominations at some point.

I might be. as far as the whole Missionary thing that is. I attend a church in the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada. that's basically how you tell our denom. you take the town name and follow it up with E.M.C. But I don't know if that's the same as/similar to Missionary Alliance

Nope. Two seperate entities altogether.

EMCC (www.emcced.ca) is completely different from CMA. Different doctrine, etc.

BTW... not all Missionary churches go by the name of the city they're in. There's about 5-10 missionary churches in the KW area, and I'm not sure if any of them go by Kitchener Missionary church... I know of a Few Bethels, at least one Bethany, a Grace... it's different for every town and church.

yeah I was pretty much exaggerating. I know of about 3 or 4 EMCC churches that go by the name of the town and then E.M.C.

there are different kinds of Missionary churches, too, though... but that would be like the different kinds of Baptists, wouldn't it...?
