| Get Down....remix? As I was driving, the pop station played Hoobastank's The Reason for the 8,000 time today, so I switched over to the christian station. I caught the tail end of what I thought was Audio A's Get Down. As they sing the first line of the chorus, some dude starts rapping. Then he raps the next verse, still with the Get Down music and background vocals. Then on the last chorus, Audio A is singing, the guy is rapping, and they play SCC singing the chorus of Dive. What in the name of cheese is that?

| That's the first song on Smash Ups (released on Sparrow Records). They took GRITS's "All Fall Down", SCC's "Dive", and Audio Adrenaline's "Get Down", and "smashed" them into one song.
Sidenote: Don't get the CD.

~Jon | Trust me, I figured that one out on my own.
What genius came up with that? It's almost the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It's just....GAH! I'm gonna go look it up to see what else they "smashed".
Wow...that sounds even worse than I imagined...wow.

EDIT: Haha... if you go to Grassroots, you can hear samples of all the "songs" on the CD. Hilariously awful.

| I thought the clip for "God vs. One Time" sounded pretty good actually. If they actually just placed the vocals over the music without editing (beside lining up the vocals to actually be in sync with the music) I'd be impressed, although it's not likely. Still sounded pretty good to me. Don't feel like bothering listening to the others. |

| Haha, these things are soooo funny.
I have a CD that has The Ben Gate's "All Over Me" vs. "Do Not" by John Reuben. Pretty funny stuff.
I heard some others too, but I didn't like too much of them. |

The worst one is probably the "smash up" between dc talk's Jesus Freak and ZOEGirl's Dismissed. Uuugggghhhh.
