This forum will be moved in a few days.

I am going to be making this forum into a general history forum (secular and sacred) and moving it to Academic in a few days. I am posting this here so you guys are still able to find the forum.

Gah , this is exactly what I didn't want happening. The whole point of this forum is for Christian History. So we're essentually going to be a Christian website without a Christian History Forum. I just didn't want to be bombarded with secular stuff along while trying to learn Christian stuff. Oh well.

I agree with Gavin here, I know that Secular and Sacred History are informed and influenced by each other...but I am afraid that I am now going to be modding a forum that will spend more time debating the origins and breadth of the Seventeenth Amendment instead of Church History. Frankly, the two disciplines are related...but my area of real knowledge is in Church History, and not general World History. I'm not sure how good of a mod I will make for this new forum.

Ah, well my friend, it seems our voices weren't loud enough. Perhaps some other time Christian Guitar Resources will find a need for a Christian History forum. But for now it seems too much like school, where religion was stifled beneath the secular. Though, not purposely here of course. I just wanted a place to go where I could deal with the history that is most important to those of us on this site who are Christian (I make this statement for the posters like Jerrylove, not as a cut to anyone).

I really, really loudly protest this move, Luke. (I suppose that makes me a PROTESTant )

Agreed. Though, I doubt Luke has even looked at this. Or seen how this thread has gotten no traffic since becoming a history forum...

Also, it appears that this thread never finishes loading for some reason...
