Yeah, I just got back from Passion.

I worked security and was around Tomlin, Redman, and Crowder a lot. Redman and Tomlin are purty darn tiny. It was pretty funny.

Charlie Hall is about "average" i suppose, but he's really nice, I talked with him for about 5 maybe 10 minutes. I saw them a lot, but as security I couldn't really sit there and talk with them. Ah well. Was still nice

Reviving an older thread here. I love his music and have seen him several times in the past. Some of his songs are among my favorites. But, I was a little disappointed with his show at Creation West this year. The reason is he did a couple of songs by other artists which I don't think he needed to do. He has enough talent on his own and enough good songs that he can stand alone on his own. It was still a good show though and Daniel Carson is getting better and better as a guitarist. Or, maybe it was that the preceding group, Israel & The New Breed, was that good. I'm not sure.

Was he leading worship? Its completely understandable that someone would do songs by others when leading worship (which is what he does). In fact it seem extremely self-indulgent to be a worship leader and ONLY do your own songs.

No, he was not leading worship as I have seen him do in the past. It was more of a show, different from the worship times at the festival. It was the evening setup for the Newsboys, sorta like David Crowder setting up Third Day, Kutless setting up Audio A and Jeremy Camp setting up Relient K. I would not have blamed him for indulging in his own music in this venue.

Reviving a relatively old thread, but I'm so excited! I just discovered that my hoem church will e hosting a Chris Tomlin Concert in March! And Louie Giglio is going to be speaking too! Making things even better, that is during the week of Mississippi State University's Spring Break, so I'll get to spend all day up at the church! Last time we hosted a concert, I worked security for Jeremy Camp. I'm even more excited to see Chris Tomlin for the fourth time.

Just saw his concert last night in Cleveland. WOW!!! I was speechless afterwards. And the fact that Chris is my favorite P&W artist in the world helped out. My parents got me tickets for Valentine's Day. I wish I was as talented as him (at least in the vocal dept.) Anywho. He put on the greatest show I've seen and words can't describe Louie Giglio (sp)'s sermon last night. Wow! All I have to say is that we serve an Awesome and Mighty God.

Wow! I'm late =D
Just in case anyone still reads this, Chris should come perform in hong kong. Not many christian artists come over here and we have a large christian community in need of some good christian music.

Oh and does anyone know where to get the album "Too Much Free Time"? It was mentioned earlier but I don't think its on sale anymore cos I cant find it anywhere >.<

Does anyone know what kind of guitar Chris uses?

Thanks.

Please look at the dates of previous posts before you reply. We don't need to revive three year old threads.
