Five Minute Plan

I'm in a band called Five Minute Plan, imagine that! We're pop\rock quartet from Central Florida. We've been together for almost five years and have put out four albums since our inception.

Definitely a band worth checking out! And if you live in Florida, don't miss the chance to see them live!

Johnny fool, all the local scene kids say that you're going to have to pull a red hot chilli peppers and play your shows naked, or they'll refuse to come. They like your music, but it's not about that any more. It's about HYPE BABY.

I'll come to all your shows and "dance" like a cool scene kid.

Oh, and just so everyone knows, FMP is going rap-core. Kind of like the beasty boys with rock music. Rawk. \m/

We'll all have our drivers liscences by the end of summer, we wanna try a little bit of touring. To FLA and back, now that would be an experience for us, haha.

We have a live demo of a new song:

http://www.fiveminuteplan.com/FiveMinutePlan-Drive.mp3

Here are the lyrics:

Midnight drive
I'm thinking up lines
To romanticize
Five years of running away from you
I'm dreaming of your eyes
Did we ever say goodbye?
I'm all alone tonight

It's me and this dark sky
And I'm dying to say goodnight

I know that it's been a long time
And you could tell me you're far away
But minutes and miles just fall in line
Feelings don't easily fade away
On those nights when the sky turns a stale shade of gray
And you can't remember the light of day

Another day
Indifferent escape
What could I ever say to you?
Could I ever find the words to change your mind
Or would it be a waste of time?
I'm holding on too tight

Underneath bright starlight
And I'm dying to say goodnight

Haha, the opening guitar line reminds me of Steely Dan, and then the crunch into the pop-punk reminds of me of latter-day Less Than Jake. Good growth, guys. Keep it up!

I like the differing parts and the one-time musical deviations. That has a songwriting feel akin to early Saves the Day, when they'd write more songs without verses or choruses.
