Monthly Theme? writers, what do you think?

Hey what do you guys think of having a theme each month that everyone can write devos. about?

I just thought of this idea, and it excited me because I thought of the potential of achieving both breadth and depth in devotionals

thanks for all the positive feedback...I want to wait a little (about a day) to see what more ppl think

seeing that it's going well so far, the next thing to do would be to start thinking of theme ideas

Sounds good but the freedom to write what one feels God is speaking to them about should still be there and theme optional.

Are these themes to be put into one thread or separate ones. What I mean is, Say the theme is prayer. Is that subject to be in one thread or do we each do our own individual thread. lol I don't know if I am making sense of this for you.

well what i was thinking with this thing was that there would be like a common theme/topic for a month that everyone would write seperate devos. about. (So this prob. means sep. threads) Like if the topic was prayer one person might write about why we should pray, another how Jesus prayed, etc. etc. I just thought this would be a good way to thoroughly explore a subject. I hope that helped

You bet it did, thanks. Yeah I like that idea. Just wonder if two of us write the same thought at the same time. And low and behold two thread of the same thing. Things of that sort has happened on other forums for different reasons. Like in Freestyle thread in CGR members Lit.. Kind a funny but interesting.
