Due to the Tick's innocence (naivety), Clark, as is his nature, wouldn't be intent on destroying him, only subduing him were they to fight for any reason (coercion, blurred and blended realities, the whole "I thought you killed my sidekick but it was really a doppelganger" thing). Of course, we have yet to see th upper limits of the Tick's endurance and strength (he has yet to be defeated by an opponent). As for Supes hovering out of reach, the Tick could wait him out, all the while annoying him until a battle is forced. Flight, while it can be a useful tool, is seldom a determining factor in a fight. His superspeed, however, would be the determining factor.

who would win?

Now i know quite a bit about each character. my opinion?

THE TICK!

Superman is way too overrated. He's not completly invulnerable. Tick is. it's a no hands down match. definitly The Tick.

Tick's not "completely invulnerable," he's "nigh invulnerable."

I would love to see those two duke it out.

This may be a little one-sided for me (if you can't tell by my avvy).

I think it'd be close. Although the Tick may very well be insane (I don't doubt it, actually), he is clever nonetheless. He always finds ways to foil the villains' plans. Not to mention that he has a drive and determination that I find incomparable to others. He has never lost to a villain (to my knowledge. However this has the possibility of being incorrect.), and he always stays ahead of the game. Plus he has defeated nemeses such as Joseph Stalin and the Man-Eating Cow. The Tick's only weakness appears to be his naiveity, which tends to get him into trouble, but he still finishes ahead in the end.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
