A typical EMG SA battery will last 3000 hours. If plugged in constantly, that is 125 days or 4 months. It will last a year or so if you just plug in while playing.

I use bartolini pickups and eq though.. But I also use walgreen's brand batteries .

Also, does the amount of boost or cut that you use affect the amount of drainage on the battery? Like, If I totally boosted bass, and totally cut treble, would it eat the battery faster than just slightly boosting both?

Well, the EQ levels shouldn't make that much of a difference overall, not like whether the guitar is plugged in or not in terms of effect.

However, that said, EMG's have a very low drain on the battery indeed. Barts and Duncans, on the other hand, eat up a lot of juice.
