what about you? where are ya thinking of headin' for college? back in hawaii?
nah, i'm going to college up here. at first, i was planning on joining the air force. in fact, i half-way signed up...but i've decided that it's really not my type of thing . and as much as i don't like washington, God brought us here for a reason...we've (i've) had so many more opportunities here. if i was still in hawaii, i don't know what the heck i would be doing right now...i'd probably be a bum at my grandma's house or something . umm...i don't know if my reasons for choosing central washington university were very valid either (in the begininig anyways)...but now i feel like that's where i should be.

it's kinda cool talkin to you, especially since i haven't seen you for...ever . anyways, i gtg...i'm supposed to be cleaning the house. talk to you later. peace .

haha i have a funny/sad story about the harvest crusade...

my friends and i wanted to go, but we could only go on sunday night after our own church service. so after church pau we went anyway coz we heard it would finish at 10pm.
but by the time we got there, everyone was LEAVING! *gah!* pretty sad, yeah? so just bcoz we didn't want to *waste gas*, we just sat down in the chairs ant watched everyone take down the stage. haha...
we started to leave and we passed by a booth where we told a worker what happened. he pitied us so bad, he started asking other workers if he could get crystal lewis to sing just for us. my sister cried coz she was happy.
but she was already gone. heh.

yep, that's what happend....

I wanna keep dis one alive! Anybodies out dea? Right now, I'm missing the weather (and my family and the food)! For you Hawaiians (living anywhere), what's your favorite food? Mine is laulau and poi. And shave ice! And the Chinese food up here in Washington is not the same as back in Hawaii (as in "not as good").

Does it count if.......

Hi, I was wondering if I can join in here, I think I might be sort of connected to you in a few ways:

a) We come to Hawaii every winter
b) My parents spend nearly all winter at their condo on Kauai
c) My Father is a volunteer tree trimmer and groundskeeper at the Prince Kuhio Park next to their home
c) My wife graduated high school on the Big Island
d) I lead music at the Providence Hospital Chapel with a guitar built for me by Mr Goodall from Kona

I'm not the most travelled person in the world, but from what I've seen you all have some of the most inspiring music when you worship that I've ever encountered... We live in Alaska, and I find it a very special honor that this thread is an "Alaska-Hawaii" one.
