flextone?

hye guys, im relatively new to electric stuff and ive been thinking about buying a new amp. rihgt now i have a fender 25r. i was wondering about a small line6 flextone II. does it sound pretty close to the tube amps that it says it can emulate? what do you ugys think? rihgt now on ebays its like around 300

As far as my opinion, I don't care for the modeling amps much. I have a Line 6 flextone 2 in my garage for the last year that belongs to my church. I messed with it for a whole evening once.

But yeah my friend... we're gonna tell you to go ahead and buy a real tube amp... And then to answer your next question - they're not as expensive as you think... and to answer your NEXT question - just go check out Tube Snobbery or any SolidState vs. Tube Amp thread.

thanks guys, i just finsihed reading through those posts and i guess ill put off the buying of a new amp, at least until i look around some more
