| Berkhof vs. Strong So since summer is cranking up, I'm rounding up my summer reading. I'm hoping to thoroughly read a systematic theology book, and I've been eyeing my dad's copies of Strong's and Berkhof's systematic theology books. Which of these would you guys advise I invest my time in? I know both of the author's are fairly renowned, but I really don't know very much about either of them. Could someone perhaps provide a quick comparison of the two? I'd surely appreciate it
Ben

| I own both, I'd recommend Berkhof over Strong...but I don't want to write out a comparison.

Ben | I've never heard of Berkhof and I didn't know Strong had a systematic theology book. |

| Berkhof was a Presbyterian (Continental Reformed), and Strong was a Baptist. I think that is all I need to say. Strong is also pre-millenial.
