Ahh, the power of cheese!

Okay, so today has been relatively uneventful (relative to what? Still working on it..). I babysat. Made ten whopping bucks. But hey, when you're jobless after having had a job at $8 an hour for 4 mos you take what you can get.

Tomorrow is mother's day. I hate mother's day. This is bad. I never know what to get my mom! That's why I hate it. So, she bought her mother's day gift. One of those misty spray things for hot days. The puppies love it. Tomorrow is also church. I actually think I might be free! I don't have sound tomorrow, or children's ministry. Ahhh, but I might have to teach powerpoint to the newbies. I hope not. I'm tired.

Anyone reading...please pray for my friend, we'll just call him Jack. He's in big trouble again I do believe. Back on pot...hanging with the wrong crowd and ditching church as often as possible. He was doing well over the summer...then I said no when he asked me out and down hill he went again. Poor guy had a rough time of it as a kid...things don't seem to be getting better. His older sister is one of my closest friends. It's a weird situation. So just pray--cause right now I'm having a hard time doing even that. Let's just say that I'm in a rough part of my walk...and I'm sorta of going my own way. We'll see how this works out eh?

Well, it's late (7:22pm??) and I'm hungry. My pups need tending. My guitar needs loving and I'm sure the tv is calling my name. Gotta love Saturday nights.

Thanks muchos!

Well, today was mother's day. I sorta of flunked in the "good daughter" test. Whoops. I forgot to get a card. So I signed my sister's too. Can I help it that I don't have my stupid driver's license though and she takes me shopping? I guess I could have walked or ridden my bike. [sighs] The joy of failure.

On the plus side, some of my friends came over. 7, 13 and 14 year old guys. They're family and mine gets along real nice. The youngest is crazy...oh my gosh. We played clue. And I lost. Okay, I never lose--until recently. Oh well. I didn't take the extensive notes that I usually take. hah.

It wasn't really an eventful day. Oh, I learned the D2 chord. A song I'm learning has it and I couldn't find it anywhere. So! I got up the brilliant idea to ask a guitarist I know. And amazingly he knew! So now I'm a very happy little girl.

No one noticed that I dyed my hair. Well, except my best friend--but she doesn't count cause best friends are supposed to notice those things. heh. But aparently it's very auburn...instead of black.

My pastor preached on being a Godly woman today. Well...boy have I failed at that one. It's disheartening. What really struck me though was when he started talking about how Godly and Ungodly women influence those around them (he was referencing husbands, but since that doesn't apply to me...) in different ways. I started wondering how I influence the guys around me by the way I dress or act or whatever--and I doubt I'm doing a good job at being a Proverbs 31 woman.

I'm tired, so I think I'll go now. Toodleeoo

What's so cool folks? I have yet to figure that out yet.

Well, don't you absolutely hate it when you wake up to yelling? I do. Yelling about younger siblings being late--then she sits at the computer and reads her mail. This always happens. Moms can be aggrivating sometimes.

I should really go do my math--but I know I'll do poorly so I don't feel like going up there. (homeschooled) Speaking of homeschooling...I thought the you homeschoolers out there might enjoy this. I had a good laugh at this woman's ignorance and selfishness. http://charlotte.creativeloafing.com/news_cotton.html

So I hope you enjoy.

I need to go eat breakfast. But I'm putting that off too. It has been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad, day (in the words of Alexander).

My friend is going to a wedding in Texas. I'm so envious. I miss my beloved Texas. She is only 16, but she works for this really rich family we know. They've taken her to Cali and to Hawaii...and now Dallas, Texas. But I probably wouldn't work there for a million dollars. You know the stereotypical rich kids you hear about but never see? Well, I've seen them. And the oldest is only 6--it's very bad. I babysat for their cousin's once. They pulled down their pants and stuck their little kabini's (my pastor's word for the backside) in the fireplace because they were cold. And then threw a temper tantrum when I wouldn't let them take milk upstairs. MILK! Ooooy vey. I'm glad they haven't asked me back. Their dad made me uneasy. He tried to KISS my friend (the one who works for the rich family) because it was her 16th birthday that week. You know, "16 and never been kissed" that garbage. It was like...um..sir? Did you know that I could get you in trouble for sexual harassment for that? Well, okay, I'd have to stretch the truth a bit. But it was a bit disconserting.

My friend "Jack" didn't go to church yesterday. On mother's day. He treats his family like dirt. Please keep praying guys.

Ah well, I need to go take care of my babies. Toodles!

Well, I have some very good news! My guitar is all better! it turns out that the fret that my high e string kept catching on was a bit rough. Even better, the guy that helped me with my guitar said that I'm doing pretty good for a beginner. So I'm a very happy little chicka.

Today I got two Funoodles! Now that I (finally) have a bathing suit i can take advatage of my rec center's pool. See, the thing is. I grew up with a pool. But the last six years I've had to live without one and now I can swim again for practically free! Happy happy happy me!

Today is a man's birthday who I know. He and his wife are like my older siblings (if my mom had had kids when she was 6...). So we printed him a card and wrote funny things in it. Like, on the envelope we wrote that it wasn't a diaper (it sort of resembled one...) and crazy inside joke-ish things. We also got him a pocket sized Simon game. Awwww yeah.

My sister is watching American Idol behind me....thank God that John guy is gone so I don't have to listen to his croaking anymore! Oy.

I'm happy; I had Qdoba for dinner. Ooooh it's good. Goody-goodness. mmmmMMMMmmmmm! Much better than Chipotle (and don't try to convince me that they're the same, cause they just aren't!). You know what I really, really, really need right now though? Some fruit. And we don't have any in the houe right now. I know! It's practically a crime! But I could really use an orage and caesar salad. Ooh yum. Do you think that frozen concentrated fruit juice stuff is any good eaten frozen? Probably not. Hmm...Maybe I'll go drink some Sobe--that might help. But I really need some. Gosh. If anyone lives near me please bring me an orange and I'll love you forever and ever and ever. And I'll hug you and I'll kiss you and give you a picture of a flower!

Well, toodles for now. I think I might go jam out. Or peruse the forums.

I'm so happy. Last night my dad went to the grocery store and got everything I've been craving! That would be he brought...

Figi Apples
Oranges
Strawberries
2 cantaloups
2 watermelons (weeee!)
and WAFFLES!

I'm such a happy little girl right now. I'm on a fruit feeding frenzy!

It's been raining. Ehh...it's supposed to be HOT outside but no! Because when it rains in Co is can't stay warm..the tempature has to drop like..fifty thousand degrees so that I freeze inside my house. And it SNOWED yesterday. Aw weel, the first year I lived here it snowed in June. Icky. It's such a gloomy day. It's an Eeyore day. [sighs]

I'm not sure how anyone could NOT like fruit..it's the best.

Last night I went to a friend's graduation. Can I just say how boring those things are? I mean, if you don't know everybody then they're just long. But when Kel went up..aww yeah. I was happy for her. Her mom looked beautiful. I'm telling you, they're just a really beautiful family. Her dad is the coolest 50 year old--he wears Vans. Hah. There were a ton of people there and we waited in line or half an hour to get food. This is why I'm not having a graduation ceremony...I'm just having a reception. I really should hurry up and finish my math so I can grauate next month...but I'm scheduled to graduate this fall, hmmmm.

Tomorrow one of my friends is coming home! She is currently attending Patrick henry College in Virginia and has just finished her freshman year. It'll be nice to have her home for the summer.

Today I have some friends from down the street coming over so I can do their makeup for an eqyptian party. That's going to be cool, getting to do exotic make up and such.

I feel like a nerd. Disney's Herculese is coming on ToonDisney later today and I'm going to watch it. Yes...I like Disney animations. What can I say? I'm reliving my childhood 6 months before I have to legally become an adult.

Aw well...I think I'm going to go have some more of that fruit...oh gosh! Does anyone else crave a caesar salad in the morning? Or is it just me?

The animated series or the movie? I adore both! My brother and I used to watch the show every morning before school, haha.

I crave weird things in the morning, well, not exactly weird but not breakfast food either.

I may just be weird...but I typically don't like breakfast foods. One of my favorite things is cold, leftover Chicken Fried Steak for breakfast. Aw well..I guess that's better than syrupy pancakes!

Cold chicken-fried steaks? I think I prefer the syrupy pancakes to cold chicken-fried steak, haha.

You poor, sad little child! I couldn't live without my cold chicken fried steak!

Okay, so my weekend. Eh. Saturday was a nothing day. I didn't get to play guitar though because I was feeling crappy. And then Sunday I was at a friend's house all day. Her parents are out of town so we hung out and played DDR Max to win back all of their songs. Lets just say that their PS2 memory card is grrrrr. We didn't win very many back because..well, we watched a movie too. And went to a baseball game. We watched Emma with Gwyneth Paltrow. her little brother (who calls me Big Dudette) watched it with us. he's 11. heh. We also went to my dad's softball game. he's on the church softball team sooo....they won! They rarely win! I was very happy. And I got a drumstick ice cream cone. And we had a water war with our waterbottles. One guy got me after he called a truce so he let me squirt him in the face. Speaking of Charlie....
He and my sister are in a Monday school thing together and today they had part one of their choir..thing. So I went to watch because I knew they wouldn't want me to. heh. He had a solo on a song he hates and he and my sister had to do this odd little "friend thing" They sort of linked arms and made thumbs ups at each other for the song. it was very unique looking. My sister was listed with one of her classmates as Sie and Judon Montoya. I feel sorry for them since they were teased. But not too sorry because they're both weird little people. Little kids sang cute songs and big kids did stupid skits. All in all it was quite an event--and it's not over yet. [sigh]

Today I feel crappy. Yay! But I've determined that I'm not sick so this is a very good thing. Maybe going to the gym in the morning will help and make me feel better.

My puppy Frankie is whining....odd. He never used to whine. He's 6 mos and whining just out of the blue. Odd.

Okay...did anyone else watch Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman back in "the day?" Or am I just weird? it's back on the Hallmark channel and I'm so excited. When I was a kid (okay..I'm still a kid..) I used to love that show. My best friend and I would watch it and then go outside and role play it. I was probably 7/8. I was always Colleen. That's one of the few things I remember clearly about living in Florida. Good days....

Okay, so. I think I'm a hypocondriac (is that how you spell it because I'm not sure.). Today I saw this thing on the Discovery channel about diseases. And now I have a cold. Could it be psychological? Could I be falling apart mentally? Well, it would make for an interesting story, no doubt. The girl who caught a cold through the television.
Haha. okay, I'm just kidding. About me being mentally..woooo. I really did watch the show and I really do have a cold. A weird coincidence however.

I'm in a goofy mood. I'm craving chocolate like Willy Wonka (and if you know how much I despise the stuff you'd know how odd that is) and wish I had that drink that makes you float. Weee. Wouldn't that be cool? Floating through the air and being like, "Hello fair people of the world!" Haha! [snorts] Whoa. I think I'm also craving protien. Preferably lobster. I have expensive tastes. I like pulling the legs off shrimp, it makes me feel like I'm working for my meal. And they feel kind of cool in between my fingers.

I didn't go to the gym this morning because I'm a sick-o. So I slept in, which was so nice. So nice. Ahhhhhhh......

Well, I think I'm going to go lay down and read. Or maybe not. I think I'm just oging to go do something else.

Okay, so yesterday I was feeling a little better. My throat wasn't sore anymore and I was just exhausted. I had this party to go to that a friend was hosting. A girl we know jut started working for Mary Kay so we let her finish her training on us. Some of the stuff is really nice...like the silky hands thing. But by the end of the party my voice was really weak and hurting from talking to my friends. So I came home and rested. Played a little guitar but couldn't sing along (I can imagine how happy my family was that they didn't have to listen to my singing! hehe) and didn't play long because I was so exhausted. I ended up staying up late reading Emma. I also took nighttime cold medicine which wasn't cool. I'm not sure why, but cold medicine always has a very bad effect on me. It's really weird. Makes my heart race and makes me feel really, really exhausted right in the pit of my stomache. It's an icky feeling. So this morning I'm pretty tired. And kind of dopey feeling. Hehe. Tonight I'm supposed to go to women's meeting but I'm not so sure.

Yesterday this family we know called and asked me to babysit. I realy don't want to watch their kids. See, they've got money and lots of it and their kids are the typical rich brats. A friend of mine usually watches them and they adore her and the oldest hates me (she's 7 and very opinionated). So...I really don't want to watch them even though they pay $6 an hour. I'm just not sure that dealing with kids like that is worth it. And right now I'm just too worn out to do it.

We were going to do yard work today but it doesn't look like my sister and I are up for it. So we're doing it tomorrow. Our yard really needs it. The family living here before us didn't take good care of the yard (we moved here about three months ago) and the weather is just now getting warm enough for us to work on it. The drought isn't helping much either.

Eh, I have to go do math. Uuugh.
