Jfreak,
I'm in the same boat - guitarist looking to add keyboard for my home recording setup. I'm looking at an older Korg - N5, I3 or I30, maybe a Trinity. They are not Korg's current lineup, but should have plenty of features for a guitarist. I don't know what the Micro goes for, but older models go for WAY less than current models, and you get a lot of the same features of a Triton, Karma, etc.

The MicroKorg is a pretty nifty little synth... has a cool vocoder (and includes the mic, if I remember correctly), nice phat sounds. Very nice........ except for the keys!!!

If you can handle the miniature keys, more power to you! Go ahead and buy the synth!! I, on the other hand, have large hands and would go nuts trying to use such small keys on a regular basis. The thing FEELS like a toy when you play it. Not the way that you want a $300-500 synth to feel.

In His love,
Nate
