Does anybody know anything about them? I went to one once as a kid but don't know anything really about them. Are they liberal/conservative? Doctorine?

I am wondering because my sister in law goes to one. Her boyfriends dad is a preacher at one. That is where she attends church. Any information would be great. Thanks a bunch.


PS if this belongs somewhere else please move it. I didn't know where to put it, because it doesn't seem like a non denom or in with the other denoms?

I don't have a ton of experience with the Nazerene church, but the experience I've had has indicated they're a pretty run-of-the-mill evangelical church. I don't believe they ascribe to reformed theology, although I would be surprised if they explicitly condone Arminiaism, either.

Our own ReformedYokel is a member of a Nazarene Church, and from past discussions with him, I have gotten the impression they are generally solid and conservative. They are Wesleyan and credobaptist (though not extremely staunchly in some cases, I believe). I would think their most questionable beliefs would be surrounding their docrine of entire sanctification.

They officially hold to beliefs contradictory to calvinism.
