I just came back from a vacation in the Philippines and I took a whole bunch of pics. Here are a few of them. Tell me what you think.

My sister at the beach early morning

Same beach place at night

I really like this shot because I actually got a lightning bolt in it

Some nice clouds

Manila baywalk at night

Manila Greenbelt (a bunch of upper-class stores and coffee shops)

Took this picture from a moving vehicle, it was getting foggy up in the mountains

Golf course, taken from a cable car

Picture of scenery in Tagaytay, i think that's a volcano at the top right

Picture of Tokyo Tower in Tokyo, passed through Japan on my way to the Philippines.

1) What kind of camera are you using?
2) I think they're all brilliant. Particularly that one of the clouds. Like... stunning.
3) Your composition is SPOT-ON. It's perfect.
4) Please continue to post your pictures. Because they're ideal.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm using a canon powershot a75 (3.2 megapixels). The camera is good, but some of the pictures required a little photoshop to correct the colours and adjust the contrast. As for the clouds, there are some really nice clouds in the Philippines during rainy season.

Here's what the clouds looked like before I photoshopped the pic. I took the pic from the back of a van with bluish-tinted windows.

I did the auto-color thing just to see what would happen, and voila. I was pretty surprised myself. Then I did some minor level adjustments afterwards to pump up the contrast.

Just a few...

These are just some crappy pictures that took me about 10 minutes to take on my digital camera. I'm getting the ones that I took with my Pentax this weekend at our state park put on disc, I'll post them soon. Have fun...
1. That was my cat. I caught her as she was waking up.
2. This is a picture of my python hugging her teddy bear. haha
3. My dimented marionette.
4. I think this is the most rad boquet of flowers I've ever gotten!

Some semi-old pictures from a short trip to Pensacola on the fourth of July weekend.

Camera used: Pentax K1000 and Pentax KS500.

[Tweaked] Sunset on secluded beach.

Same sunset, squatting in the water with the camera about four inches above the water.

Tunnel in Alabama. It would have been less blurry if some chick in the car behind us hadn't screamed to hear the echo and scared the crap out of me. I almost dropped my camera.

Traffic just outside of Baton Rouge with a full one-second exposure.

The explosion from a mortar shell during the festivities on the beaches with long exposure.

Ok, I am a beginner when it comes to photography. So I know that these probably aren't that good. I think I edited all of these with Photoshop, either because the original sucked, or I wanted to add effect. I took them all with my Canon A60 digital camera. I wish I had better, but I'm too much of a musician and I spend all my money on guitar gear . Oh well. Anyways, these are all photos of a band that I'm good friends with, Amnesty Letters, most taken in our auditorium at our college during one of their practices, but one is during a gig elsewhere. Enough rambling, here's the pics.....

Seth on drums...

Katie on piano and bgvs...

I really wish the mic wasnt in this pic...

Jake on acoustic guitar..... high contrast

This one is Jake in our lounge...

Aaron on bass....

and John on electric guitar...

I would have some pics of more different things, but my camera broke right before my trip to Guam, which included lay overs in Japan and Hawaii. So yeah, I would have a ton of pics if my camera hadn't broken.

I took this one of my friend Heather. It really was a sort of spontaneous thing where she was sitting in the grass and I was lying down, and I looked up and saw the sun behind her and thought it looked cool.

Bam - When you post, scroll down and you'll see a "Manage Attachments" button and if you click that, a second window will pop up and offer you the chance to browse your harddrive for documents you'd like to upload. Easy as cake.
