| i was very very disappointed too...
the lyrics-- poor and repetitive, nothing substantial...
i feel they've lost their style. the old stuff was better.
they've changed...for the worse.

| Don't Critize What You Can't Play! Obviously, none of you have ever listened to Jazz or anything else emotional (like their new album). I may be biased as a member of their street team but I know good music when I hear it (my top threee bands are P.O.D., Extol, and Van Halen). I'm guessing none of you could play and record something that advanced. So, don't diss what you can't emulate! When you can play guitar as well as Truby, make lyrics as well as Sonny, play bass as well as Traa, and pound the skins as well as Wuv. Then, criticize them. I'm not saying you have to like them but don't criticize em. I'm sick of people who can't play guitar very well criticizing what they can't at least copy! Aaarrrgggggghhhhhhhhhh! Now, although we may not agree, we can stop arguing, dissing music we don't like (I don't like Punk), and live out our lives as Christ did. So, stop dissing P.O.D. and either pray for somebody or get out there and spread the message we were told to spread by God himself. (If you got anything you want me to pray for, I'll do it.)

Thats the only fair and reasonable standard. |

I think "Wildfire" is one of my favorite tracks on the CD, actually. But that's just my music tastes.
If you posted more intelligent REASONS why you didn't like Payable On Death, then I'll listen to you. Quote: |

I take back everything I've ever said about any CD. I just don't know if they're any good or not, because I can't write songs, I can't play a guitar, I can't play bass, and I can't play drums.

I'm sick of people who can't play guitar very well criticizing what they can't at least copy! | I'm not a P.O.D. fan, and I wouldn't recognize one of their songs if I heard it...but, in all due respect, the statements above are patently absurd. I realize you're very emotionally invested in this group, but let's have some clear-headed thinking:
Do you have to be an advanced C++ programmer in order to criticize Windows?
Do you have to be a skilled photographer to say you don't like the work of Robert Mapplethorpe?
Do you have to be an experienced movie director to say you didn't like Dude, Where's My Car?
No on all counts. And I would suggest that offering up criticism of P.O.D. and living a Christ-like life are not two mutually exclusive activities.
Thick skin will take you a long way in life. |

| the one reason i don't like this cd is because when Truby Joined things could've been soo better.
i don't hate everything about the cd.
i really like will you and change the world.
but notice sleeping awake(imo the best POD song ever) was not included.
i know it was on a sound track but what about people like me who would like to listen to the song without crap like marylin manson on the same cd??

(Or before Satellite for that matter?!) They've written much better songs in the old days... Not to say that their writing has ever been phenominal, but it's been better. |
