Paul Colman, former frontman and founding member of Aussie band Paul Colman Trio, recently announced his plans to pursue a solo career. The news has been well-received by pc3 fans nationwide, as Colman continues to move forward with numerous high-profile projects and performances.
The demand for Colman’s music has been unaffected by his decision to go solo. Currently, he is featured on WOW Worship (Red), the latest installment from this best-selling series, singing “I Love You Lord.” He also recorded the song “I’m So Blue” for Forefront Records’ compilation Veggie Rocks!, in stores March 9. Next month, the charismatic crooner will make his first solo appearance at an industry convention. On the itinerary for Gospel Music Week 2004 are media interviews as well as participation in select events. Colman will co-host and perform at a late night showcase hosted by outreach organization World Vision. In addition, he will sit on the “Hear My Heart” panel, a MAPS seminar that provides an informal time for artists to share about their lives.
Furthermore, Colman’s calendar is booked with live shows during the spring and summer months. This June, he will play an acoustic set for more than 80,000 expected at legendary evangelist Billy Graham’s “Heart of America” crusade in Kansas City, Mo. Among the many additional arenas Paul Colman devotees can hear their favorite artist is mainstage at Crossover Festival, Atlanta Fest, Creation Festival East, Summer Blast, Creation Festival West, Inside Out SoulFest, Kingdom Bound and Rock the Universe at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla.
