| Problem Hello,
I've got a problem.
Im not sure if its my guitar, Chord or amplifier,
( chord, the chord from the amp to the guitar)
Whenever i put pressure on my chord whilst im holding it it makes a very load kind of BOOM...
Is it my guitar?
Amp?
Or chord? |

| It's most likely the cord ( or cable, not chord ). Get a new one. |

| The input jack on your guitar could be loose as well. Try to tighten it up a bit before you spend money on a cable you may or may not need |

| I read it again, and it could be one of the input jacks. I didn't know what "pressure" we were talking about... |

| yeah could be that your input jack is dirty. Dust tends to help make those sounds.

| I would think that your input jack is loose. Otherwise your *cable* may have a short.

| A buddy of mine had a similar problem with his bass... I thought it might have been the input jack, but it turned out that it was his cable 'cause after he got a new cable, it never happened again... Of course, he still needs to get his jack fixed because the cable falls out all the time, but that's another problem for another day... |

| Find someone with a cord and borrow their cord and see if you have the same problem

I've ruined the joints in two cables that way (I'll fix 'em when I get a solder gun and practice up a bit with it). The best thing to do is to go buy an angled plug cable. The cable has a 90 degree angle at one end, so it sits flush with the bed or horizontal surface (leg, floor, whatever).

It also looks better when your tucking your cable through your strap... |

| Yes, it does. The cable-thru-the-strap thing is great, but I just how it twists my nylon strap around all the time. It gets really annoying. However, it does save the audience (as well as the speakers) from a sudden unplugging.

| I think I should make a strap button that has an extension where you can tuck your cable... |

| Or with an adjustable end on the strap (ala planet waves, dunlop, etc.) put the cable through the strap, not between the guitar and the strap (if you get what I mean).
