Does anyone know of any websites that talk about praise songs and the Scripture reference they come from? For example, I know "Give us Clean Hands" is based on Psalm 24, "Not to Us" is from Psalm 115:1, and "Let My Words Be Few" is from Ecc. 5:1-3. I was just wondering if there's anyplace I can find out more.

I know that if you go to the artist website most of them have the scripure with it, and it explains what they were trying to get across with the song. I know Casting Crowns did that, in the cover of Third day songs it has the verses. A few others also I can't think of. but ya... try the artist website and find their lyrics and stuff. God bless

I haven't seen any websites like that, but if you get sheet music usually there is a verse somewhere on the page, It's also in lots of hymnals if you're looking for hymns written from bible verses...

I am a musician,but I am not a christian.I used to be, even had a band at one time.In fact I have had faith in many things.It was not until I found Creativity that I totally found solace.Now as Christians use bible lyrics in their music, so do we.It is important to share the word by regular means or musical means.
