Was just wondering why the songs from comatose weren't listed then I realized this thread was made back in 2004.
You could get so many different answers depending which era of Skillet is your favorite.

This would be the ideal compilation to me. A great mixture of the old and new.

1. Saturn
2. Locked In a Cage
3. Best Kept Secret
4. You Take My Rights Away
5. Alien Youth
6. Vapor
7. Eating Me Away
8. Kill Me, Heal Me
9. The Thirst is Taking Over
10. Angels Fall Down
11. Savior
12. Open Wounds
13. Collide
14. A Little More
15. Rebirthing
16. The Last Night
17. Comatose
18. Whispers In the Dark
19. Live Free or Let Me Die
20. Awake and Alive

"The Thirst Is Taking Over" is pretty legit, even for a Skillet song.

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight.

Skillet has a "Greatest Hits" CD?

There must be only 2 songs on that CD. Max!

Probably because I disliked their latest album. Although I included songs from all of their albums most are from Comatose and Alien Youth which is a personal favorite of mine.

To me thats not a bad thing because I tend to dislike most hits. Maybe I just have screwed up tastes in music.

Generally I find Skillet to be just plain boring. None of their music moves me at all. One of the singers on our worship team wants us to learn "Hero" for a gig we have coming up next month so I am just super "blessed".

Yeah Hero doesn't do anything for me either. I would agree their new cd Wake is mediocre, but don't see how anyone could call their previous releases boring. To each his own I guess.
