| Icon Listing :) Okey Dokey.... mods, I honestly have no idea where this goes, so I put it in general and hope that you can find a place for it
I was thinking, it would be cool to have a place where we can post pictures of Icons we like. It doesn't have to be one you have, just one you like off the net, or some other place.
I am quite fond of the Pantokrator Icons. My father was nice and bought me one the other day.
This isn't it, but I thought I would show a Pantokrator just in case someone did not know what it is.
My father has a beautiful madonna and Child.
We are hoping to get some more and place them around the house.
So, what are some ones you guys like?

| I have a cool one from Ely Cathedral in england, but I'm waay too lazy to scan it in or anything. Plus it's on wood which could be tricky. But it depicts Mary and baby Jesus.

| Please tell me you're kidding.
For one: wrong Madonna. Two: the other Madonna has a kid as well. |

Kindof a neat idea.

| I think they're religious symbols/artwork used mainly by Catholics. But I still don't know why Madonna is a religious icon.....

| Icons are used mainly by Orthodox Christians, not Catholic. Although I am sure some Catholics use them.
