| Rachel's Stuff- all in one thread! (rc if you wish) Ok, it's about time I made a thread for my songs. I have at least a CD's worth and have never posted them in a seperate thread other than my blog. Here goes.....

| I'm Yours Verse 1
I cry out for You / I need You desperately
'Cause once again I have / lost my way
I need Your loving guidance / To show me where to go
Lord, please send Your Spirit / to lead me home Prechorus 1
I know You've said You love me / But why, I don't understand
And after all that I put You through / You're still reaching out Your hand
I know You want to help me / But there's so much I don't see
And all the things I've learned in Sunday school / Are a profound mystery Chorus
Lord, hear my prayer, help my unbelief, I know You want to free me
Lord, take me there, to where I'll understand what You're trying to teach me
Take me in Your arms, and never let me go
I'm Yours, I'm Yours Verse 2
Lord, You know I'm grateful / For all You brought me through
But this world makes it hard / to follow You
But Lord, I wanna try to / To see things from Your eyes
And forever / You have my life Prechorus 2
You know I don't understand You / But I'm glad I don't have to try
'Cause I don't know how someone like me / Can be the apple of Your eye
You know that I'm not perfect / When I want what You have in store
But I only give You a corner / When You want so much more
(Chorus)
I'm Yours, I'm Yours, even more than I know.
*edit* I added the clip.

| Disappeared C Stuck between the pages Em Of letters unread and stories unsaid
C Gather all the pieces Em Of puzzles undone and battles unwon
C And every day has the same beginning Em What more can I say, I'm still remembering
Am7 And I miss you, you just left me here Em (Dtriad 2nd time) And I miss you, somehow you disappeared (2x)
C Run around in circles Em Like someone possessed, I must confess C I got lost in your eyes Em Can't find a way out from a season of doubt
C And every time I sit here pondering Em I realize how far I'm wandering
(chorus) C And every season has its time Em So tell me when - you will be mine
(chorus)

| Very nice stuff.
I think "The One That Got Away" was my favorite. But "Disappeared" came a close second.
Keep writing, I love your songs. Sorry no RC's. |

Ok.. I have the beginning of another one here. This is just sappy-crappy stuffs I'm currently working on tho... Sunday Afternoon
Hush your talking now / silence your lips
Not a lot of things in life / get as good as this
Savor the moment / enjoy your dreams
Not everything in this world / is quite what it seems
And I couldn't ask
for anything more
On a Sunday afternoon / there's nowhere I'd rather be
Than lying in your arms / eternally

| Good stuff! You have a great voice and a great sense of rhythm and melody. That's a hard combination to come by these days. I'll have to agree with Mark and say that "The One That Got Away" was my fav. They were all good though, I enjoyed listening!

| Today I cannot find the words to say
To tell you how I feel
They haven't been invented yet
I've been watching you from far away
Wanting to get closer
But feeling so inhibited
And time passes
The hours click so slowly by
I'm losing chances
To get to know the you inside
Where have you been my whole life
Baby, I don't wanna scare you away, but I
Just wanna be by your side
Today
This thing is just within my reach
But just beyond my grasp
So near and yet so far off
The angels dropped you at my feet
And now I'm scared to tell you
You're everything that I dreamed of
