right! its the day after........... after waiting in tribulation [kinda] for my small group, it was in hindsight a cool night, we challanged the other group of kids who are the same age to us a banana challange.it didnt really work too good but it was fun..........the boys in the end had to guess how many banana lengths it would take to measure the urinal in the mens toilet.......17!... then tim the other youth leader ate the banana!!!!!!!!!!..we didnt realise that he had switched them, kinda gross but really funny...got two kids to peel bananas and feed each other blindfolded..... we were trying to get a discussion going on all of james 3, we only used one verse.....the first one, and we spoke for a good 40 mins on the power of the tongue and why the kids take great delight in dissing each other and bumming people out..........quite challanging.....we ended up with the vegetable game............great stuff, they loved it!

confessions i suppose....im not a dude who posts humour all the time...or a whacked out youth leader.........i also write songs, and play them..so heres one or two

He died on a cross, broke the power of sin
allowing us, the priceless gift of freedom
it's up to us, to receive that gift
our opportunity, to take hold of that lift
the gift of life, the treasure of all
it's for all of us , no matter how small
eternal life, eternal grace
that's why He died, when He died for us
my life is now, in the hands of Jesus
