Guys I have never done this before but I am going to make a request and sticky it for a little while

A few things I want to see would be:

1) Discretion used in terms of sin. I would like us to not shy away from dealing with tough issues, but to make sure our approach is biblical. Several threads from recent memory and long past memory come to mind, where people's speech was not following the word of God in being gossippy about others.

2) Please don't throw around names or accuse someone. If a friend is doing something sinful, please refer to the m as a friend or alias. As the proverbs say, the first to present his case seems right, till another comes forward and examines him. I would hate to see someone's reputation tarnished falsely because of a misunderstanding. I will be a pastor someday. I would hate to remember a lie told on these boards if I happened to be the pastor of a church you someday attend, especially if it was a lie based on malice or misunderstanding.

3) Please show the love of Christ through your words. SOmetimes we come across wrong and we need to deal with that quickly while our adversary is in the way with us.

I just wanted to share this as a new mod of this forum, and after reading a very disturbing thread to me.
