you should take pre-teens and teens to see the movie. i saw it and it was great. im a teen. me and my friends whent and saw it with our parents. we really got a dif. prespective on the crusifing of jesus.

actualli, they show the pasSion constantly at church, buh its met for high skools, cuz they believe it might b a lil extreme for middle skoolers and under. buh then, im in middle skool so they made b wrong, buh the violence sorta hit me

I don't think I would let anyone over 14 or 15 see the movie, depending on maturity I guess. It came out when I was 17 and I wept through the whole thing. It was the most diffficult thing I ever watched, I really don't think I would want a child or pre-teen to see it, it's just not appropriate.

Something to consider is to allow older children and pre-teens to see the cut version. i heard that it was being cut to a PG-13 level eliminating some of the most gorey parts. This may end up being more appropriate for children to view.
