This is a great discussion. I've seen our youth group get "spring fever" early every spring where the allure of teenage vida loca is really strong and it's like the teens are challenging the leaders to stop them from doing something stupid. There's always lots of strange cars, cigarettes, and peeling out in the parking lot while the service is going on.

All I know is that when I have a spiritual low, the only thing that drags me out of it is God himself. I've learned to shut up, be patient, and trust him in these times and things always get better. I'm suspicious that God gives me these low periods intentionaly to shut me up and humble me and cause me to seek him.

Now if I can think of a way to share this with the teens....
