| Wow, that All Star concept is really interesting. It's too bad I'm only 15 and not in college/homeschooled or else I'd bring in the girls like I bring in the money. Oh. Nevermind.

| I almost bought () while in HMV the other day, but I was already buying Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, One Chord To Another, and Hail to the Thief. Didn't feel like spending that much...
Katy's Mom came up to Trinity today. We watched Adaptation, which is swiftly becoming one of my favorite movies. The lounge we watched it in has a kitchen attached to it, so they made cookies while watching the movie. My friend Harry gave me the movie for Christmas, and I gave him the City On A Hill Christmas album. I know Christmas was over a month ago, but we hadn't seen each other for a while...
Anyways, listened to Led Zeppeling and The Who this morning, now listening to Tool - Lateralus. Probably going to go to a hockey game tonight. Our University's hockey team is doing surprisingly well this season. Not sure who they're playing tonight, but it's sure to be a good game. A guy on the same hall as me plays for the team and gets in a fight pretty much every game. I've yet to see him fight yet, so I'm hoping he gets in one tonight. |

| Well, went to the hockey game. It was fun. We sat above the rink in the restaurant. The hot waitress was especially nice to my friend (gave him a free drink, no less), so we razzed him, suggesting he ask for her phone number. All in good fun of course.
We went to Denny's after the game, but their Interac was out, and none of us had cash, so we just came straight back to TWU. Katy couldn't make it to the game, so my friends made fun of me. Two of them don't live on campus anymore and pretty much every time we get together she has previous plans. So they're under the assumption that we never see each other and that she has better things to do than spend time with me. Katy and I spent the entire day together...
Anyways, they made fun of me and actually really ticked me off. I swore a little more than I would have liked. It takes a lot to get me angry, and when I'm angry I get angry at myself for being angry. It's a vicious cycle. I haven't been truly ticked off for a while, and it kinda scares me when I'm like that. Just feel like punching every single person I see...probably why I ended up a pacifist. It scares me how much I could hurt somebody.
I relaxed when I got back to TWU. Just sat down and read the school newspaper for a little bit. One of my friends wrote a pretty fun article on Calvinism: Predestination Vs. Free Willy. Presented the basic Calvinistic viewpoint on one side and then had written out whale sounds with the occasional Armenian cheapshot thrown in (ending with "Calvin sucks."). Made me laugh, which helped. Not entirely sure what his point was, but in my mind it showed how little most Armenians know about their own beliefs. Not the Armenians on here, because most have at least looked at the issues and understand them, but most of the people I've talked to on campus have no idea. I think my friend, the writer of the article was simply challenging Armenians to take a look at what they actually believe so they can provide more of an argument than simple whale croonings.
So now I'm sitting here re-listening to Lateralus, realizing that I have to get up in 7 hours to go to church. I'm not really tired...it's going to be hard getting to sleep tonight. |

| Yeah I find it hard to get to sleep when I know I have to get up early the next day as well. So do you play in your Church's band or anything like that?

| I may be starting soon. I'm an irregular attender due to homework and bizarre sleep patterns. But I talked to the guy who's running worship at the church I've been attending, and he's looking for more musicians. So I might be starting. They just got a drummer; before it was all acoustic. I might end up playing my electric.
Does anyone else find it hilarious how many people still have rep messages in their sigs? |

| Had a nice nap today. Lay down with Our Lady Peace playing in the background and slept for about an hour and a half. Then my Dad stopped by the dorm to give me a check for the remainder of my tuition. That's always lovely.
I need to sleep well tonight. Guitar lesson at 11 tomorrow morning, Existentialism at 2:35, work from 5-7:30, Bible study at 8. |

| Just started this semester. I've had three lessons so far.
Our Lady Peace is my third favorite band. Right after Switchfoot and Weezer. |

| I hurt all over. I had two indoor soccer games last night. It was intense. We lost the first game, 7-3 after being up 3-0. It was bad. We won the second game pretty easily, but it's tough getting everyone on the team motivated and playing together as a team. I'm the captain, so it's kinda my job. We have a lot of good players, but they're not very good team players. They try to dribble around everybody on the floor and lose the ball every time.
Anyways, woke up today very sore. Had to go to Existentialism anyways. We're talking about Nietzsche, and some tough questions regarding faith are coming up. I could really use some prayer for this class guys.
Figured out a topic for my paper for Existentialism. That's good at least. I think I'm going to do a paper on Nietzsche's Ubermensch and show how God fits his description of this overman. Should be fun. Tonight I have another paper to write, this time for Leadership. I have to write about a Biblical figure and the type of leadership he/she presented. I might do Esther. Still not sure. It's a short paper, so it won't take long.
Anyways, have to work again tonight. Really don't want to. I want to go back to bed and forget about all my responsibilities in this world. But that doesn't work. |

1. the pinata was surprisingly tough.
2. We went ice-skating after. The person I'm grabbing is my RA. Fun times...
3. my girlfriend and her roommate. My girlfriend's on the right.
4. me and my girlfriend. Yes, I am wearing a leather jacket.
5. sitting on the bunch before we went out on the ice. I have a tough time keeping a straight face on camera. I always want to pull a face. |

| And here's the CanAm game. Basically, this is the Canadian girls versus the American guys in ice hockey. Normally the girls whipe the ice with the guys, but this time the Americans got lucky (and actually had a good goalie).
Here we go:
1. don't worry, I am wearing pants. It was a little chilly though...
2. the American guys lining up...
3. I love Zambonis. They are awesome.
4. my American friends on the other side of the rink. That's right, that's my girlfriend in the middle of them all. She's American...
5. Two of my good friends in my dorm. They're just across the hall from me. |
