cut capo questions

I am just wondering if you think that a cut capo is a worthy investment if I will be playing praise and worship. I can play all of the songs already but it justs seems like it would be easier and different with a cut capo.

It certainly has it's benefits. I use mine pretty often as I absolutely love the different voicings that it gives chords. Sometimes, a song just sounds 3x as good with different voicings than your standard ol' chords. Keep in mind that it's only really useful in the key of E and A without needing to slap a standard capo 2 frets behind it. It's a worthy investment to me. Some may say otherwise, but to each his/her own.

It's worth it (IMO)

It's especially beneficial if another guitar is playing along with you. Also, since the chords are easier to play, it makes it easier to sing and play at the same time. Myself and another guy lead praise and worship for the youth group at church and we just do an acoutsic set with a couple guitars. You can also make a cut cap yourself if you have a regular Kyser Capo.
