Just to clear up some confusion.... if anyone's even reading this thread anymore...
I joined the Marine Corps through the DEP (Delayed Entry Program) at the age of 17. I didn't actually leave for boot camp until I graduated high school. BUT... once I got to boot camp there were some guys there who were still 17. If I remember correctly, the only way you can do that is if your parents sign a form, and your 18th B-Day has to hit sometime before you graduate from bootcamp, or graduate from your MOS school. One of the two. But either way, it is possible for a 17 yr. old to end up in boot camp.

I had to register to vote in order to pass my required Government class my senior year of high school. I was 17 at the time, but I turned 18 before the next time there was a vote. Otherwise, we do it through the DMV, or the county courthouse (which is usually where the DMV is anyway).
So I turned 19 in December, and I haven't registered to vote. How exactly do I do that? Can I do it online, or do I need to go to like the post office or a courthouse or something?
