Panthers going to the Super Bowl
Amazing, Panthers are going to the Super Bowl to Play the Patriots. A friend told me that the Eagles were the ones going and I believed him. He was wrong, now I've seen everything.

this was the game i was the most sure on. i thought the panthers had a great chance and i was basically 70% or so sure that they would. i did think the other game would have been closer and have turned out the other way though. ah well, should be a great game. defenses collide. and it the game is called like the panthers was today, wow. there's a ton of leeway to be working with.

I'm a member of the University of Houston marching band. We (and Texas Southern Univeristy) are doing a tune with Janet Jackson, I believe. We don't know many details right now, except that we'll be out on the field and the music will most likely be pre-recorded.

The Patriots will have little trouble disposing of Carolina. They are the superior team. They have proved it by beating 2 very good teams already.

I still don't believe in the Panthers. They just did not play good enough during the regular season to be in the Super Bowl. In fact, they tried to give their division championship away many times even if they were able to hold onto it. This is going to be a lopsided yawner of a Super Bowl. Sucks for those who were hoping a Colts/Eagles match up. CBS must be pissed. They get all of the crappy Super Bowls (remember Ravens/Giants a few years back? that was CBS).

*snore*... i've sleepwalked (sleeptyped) into this thread. Can anyone (not living in New England or Carolina) actually take this game seriously? This isn't even a matchup I'd be interested in watching during the regular season, and it's the friggin super bowl. Pats should win, easily (although I say this with some reservations, a lot of the "sure things" I've said have been proven wrong). I'll be watching the commercials on tv with more interest than the game.

The Panthers are going to Win and heres why.

Both teams have outstanding defenses. Neither one has a particularly good offense, in fact they both remind me of the Ravens who didn't have a dynamic offense. As they always say Defense wins championships. So this is going to come down to who is going to give to most turnovers. Since I dislike the Pats (Me being a Fins fan) i believe Brady is going to throw 2 interceptions and the Pats will lose 1 or 2 fumbles. The final score is going to be 21-10.
