digital cameras

I'm not really sure if this is the best place to post this, but I figured this is the most focused place for people with digital cameras.....

I am starting to consider getting a digital camera. The only problem is I dont have a lot of money, and when I do get money, most of it goes towards music stuff and general college life. But I am starting to get a real interest in digital photography and pretty much photography in general. I was originally thinking of getting a new cell phone that had a camera on it, not for the best photo quality or anything, but simply so that I could carry a camera with me everywhere and take pics when the situation arose. But I am starting to reconsider ever since I saw this. Roughly for the same price I would likely spend on a phone (actually, the camera costs about $20 more than the phone), I could get a pocketsize digital camera that can take video too. Plus, with a dedicated camera, the quality will likely be better. ANYWAYS..... because I have close to zero knowledge on digital cameras that are out now, are there many other digital cameras that are comparable in price to that Gateway camera, around the price of $100 with sales and rebates? And if so, can you post a link to a site where I can read reviews and/or buy? I only need a camera for putting pics on my computer and internet, and I dont need the video option (although it is a real nice bonus). So I dont need more than 2 or 3 megapixels. Just something cheap, of decent to good quality, and the smaller the better. Thanks. Once I get one, you'll likely see me posting some pics here....

Edit: Link fixed!

Disregard the last post. I bought a camera already, a Samsung Digimax 201. If anyone knows about this and would like to give feedback on it, please do so. Also, if anyone has recommendations for a camera in the $100 to $130 range, please let me know. I can still return the one I have and I have 30 days to do so. If I find a better one in my range, I can just return it.
